I’m thinking of re-purposing a couple of Dell 7010 (i5) small formfactor desktops into a virtualization/lab cluster. They have one onboard GigE port, I would like to add a pci card with one or two GigE ports on it. The SFF can take half-heights What are some good candidates? Also, i’ve discovered the existence of pci cards with M.2 slots, like this one: Amazon.com That looks genius for adding small amounts of fast disk… Will it fit in my SFF chassis, and will it work?
